HAFTR'S Early Childhood Center

Welcome to HAFTR’s Early Childhood Center where we provide an attractive, vibrant, dynamic תורה-centered learning climate. We foster a passion for Torah and instill in our children a love of מצוות with particular attention focused on being a mentsch.

Our children acquire the foundational literacy skills in English and Hebrew by participating in meaningful language enriched  experiences.  Their knowledge of  עברית is furthered by our language immersion program  “Chalav U’dvash”  introduced last year in our Nursery 4 program.  Our specialty programs feature music, computers, gym, and library. We guide the development of the whole child while we foster their abilities in academics, socialization, and fine and gross motor skills.

Our developmentally appropriate curriculum reflects a core base of knowledge in both Judaic and general studies which serve as a foundation for later learning.  Love of Torah, Mitzvot, Medinat Yisrael, and Am Yisrael are the cornerstones of our program.

Building a child’s self-esteem is our primary goal.  We do this by providing a nurturing and stimulating environment in which a child is free to take risks, ask questions and discover things on his/her own.  In the hands of warm and accepting teachers, each child progresses at his/her own pace.  Our Morot utilize a variety of teaching strategies that recognize the diversity of learning styles.  We are excited to have you partner with us as we lay the foundations for a lifetime of learning.
