write paragraphs of
greater complexity and
length than in previous
years, compose songs
and poems, read and
write newspaper“advertisements” and
speak only in Hebrew.
As in previous years,
students read at home
on a daily basis in
order to practice their
reading skills. The
theme centers on food
and nutrition. Topics
for conversation are
discussions about
favorite foods;
students hear stories
relating to shopping,
cooking, ordering in a
restaurant and creating
recipes. |
