Resources & References

College Guidance welcomes the opportunity to acquaint all 9th and 10th grade students with our College Guidance Department and what we can assist them with now. For this reason, February has been declared College Guidance Awareness month for all 9th and 10th graders.

Mrs. Szaluta, a College Guidance Counselor, will discuss and familiarize your child with the many functions of the College Guidance Department, such as tutoring, scholarship information, summer internships, career information, college advice, Alumni Day, Principals’ Honor Roll, National Honor Society, PSAT, SAT/ACT and AP exams.

Students who are interested in learning more about the College Guidance Department should contact Mrs. Arlette Miller for an appointment. Mrs. Szaluta will be working with small groups of students Monday – Thursday from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm during the month of February. We prefer students scheduling an appointment during their lunch break (they would be able to eat in the College Guidance office) so they do not miss any of their regular classes. This meeting will take approximately 15 minutes.

College Guidance looks forward to the prospect of introducing your child to the many helpful resources that are available to them in the College Guidance office.

Below you will find some links to very useful documents and websites.  We encourage our parents and student to make use of these links for reference throughout the college admission process.
